In 1882, my 3x Great Grandmother Penelope Ann Wheaton nee Carter died at Tiverton, Devon aged 85. She was the wife of Francis drake Waldron Wheaton and had 6 children. She died of "Old Age"
In 2011, my father Trevor Douglas Wainwright died at Stockport, Cheshire. He was 88 years old and had suffered a severe stroke 2 months previously.
