In 1879, my Great Great Uncle Thomas William Whitney married Fanny Parker at the Parish Church, Shepton Mallet. He was the second son of Edwin Whitney and Penelope Ann Wheaton. Thomas & Fanny had one daughter, Fanny Louise Whitney.
In 1921, my first cousin once removed, Henry Esmond W Wainwright was born. He was known as "Bang" in the family, possibly as a consequence of being born on Armistice Day. He was the youngest child of Edward William Wainwright & Lillian Cooper.
